My TV actually did fry once.  I was really disappointed.  The only redeeming factor in the whole equation was that I got a new TV.  I wasn’t pleased with having to spend the money.  My homeowner’s insurance would have required a hefty deductible, so it was all out-of-pocket.  Since then, I always connect to my electronics to a surge protector.  The breaker has flipped many times (I live where thunderstorms are a normal way of life).  Who knew you could get surge protectors that protected your electronics, filtered interference from the image and sound AND carried a warranty.  Three hundred grand???!!!  Seriously?  Maybe you have a system that’s worth that much.  I sure don’t.  If you do, you better buy this Monster Power MP HTFS 500 2-outlet High Definition Video PowercenterTM now, before it’s gone.  If you’re like me, and your system is worth significantly less… at least you’ll have a good conversation starter and some serious protection for your stuff, home-owner’s insured or not.

Maybe the Borg could have overcome the Federation if they had modified their cube to be more like the Boynq Cubite PC Speaker and USB Hub.  Well, probably not actually.  I mean, Jean Luc and his Number 1 were pretty stout competition.  Especially with Counselor Troy in the mix.  Loved the cat-suit on that one.  But I digress.  Even if they still would have lost to the federation, they could have at least had fun connecting through the four USB hubs and bustin’ moves to the 2 x 3w RMS sound.  I wonder what the Borg’s favorite dance would be?
